Ringing is quickest

There is no switchboard and no call centre. The phone rings in the home and is picked up by the manager or the senior member of staff on duty.

Staffed 24 hours a day. Management enquiries are normally handled in office hours, but calls are answered at all times by care staff.

Four short questions and we ring you back to agree a time, including evenings and weekends.

Book a visit

What happens when you ring at 8pm on a Sunday.

The senior member of staff on duty answers. They can give you information there and then, arrange an urgent visit if that is the right thing to do, or take your details so the Home Manager rings you back the following morning. Nobody is left with an answerphone.

Where we are

Before you visit

Four things worth asking any home

Ask us these, then ask the next home the same. The answers will tell you more than a brochure.

How long have your staff been here?

Continuity is everything in dementia care. Ours has been stable, and families notice it first.

What happens if needs change?

We tell you early and honestly. We are residential, not nursing, and we will help you find the right move if it comes to that.

What are the fees, exactly?

Ours are set out plainly in our brochure, and the Home Manager will talk them through on the phone. If a home will not tell you, that is worth noting.

Can we drop in unannounced?

Yes. Visitors are welcome at any reasonable hour. You will see the home as it actually is.
